Pre-Menstrual Diuretic
Relieves Temporary Water Weight Gain and Bloating
Made with Organic Dandelion Root
Recommended use: PMS Tea® is an herbal tea for relief of temporary water weight gain and bloating associated with the premenstrual period.
Recommended dose: Adults: Drink one cup, 3 to 4 times daily during the pre-menstrual period.
Directions for use: Pour 240 mL boiling water over one tea bag in a cup. Cover cup and steep for 10 to 15 minutes. Gently squeeze the tea bag to release the remaining extract.
Medicinal ingredients: Each tea bag (2.0g) contains: Organic roasted dandelion root (Taraxacum officinale) 500 mg, organic roasted chicory root (Cichorium intybus) 200 mg, uva ursi leaf (Arctostaphylos uva-ursi) 80 mg, organic cornsilk style and stigma (Zea mays) 40 mg.
Non-medicinal ingredients: Organic roasted carob fruit (Ceratonia siliqua), organic roasted barley kernel (Hordeum vulgare), organic parsley herb (Petroselinum crispum), organic oatstraw herb (Avena sativa), organic stinging nettle leaf (Urtica dioica), chickweed herb (Stellaria media), cramp bark (Viburnum opulus).
Cautions: Consult a health care provider prior to use if you have gallstones, if you have heart and/or kidney diseases, are on diabetes medication or if you are taking psychoactive medication. Discontinue use if hypersensitivity occurs such as contact dermatitis. If symptoms persist consult health care provider. This product contains gluten.
Contraindications: Do not use if pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not take if allergic to Asteraceae (daisy family) plants, if you have Gilbert’s syndrome or Crigler-Najjar syndrome, gall bladder inflammation, bile duct obstruction, or intestinal blockage. Do not use if you have bile duct cancer, pancreatic cancer, haemolytic anemia, intestinal spasm, liver cancer or liver disease.
Side effects: Teas containing uva ursi leaf may cause nausea or vomiting in individuals with sensitive stomachs and in children.
